Our quality focus is an integral part of our commitment to your company

Quality procedures
Ipsos Markinor was the first marketing research company in South Africa to receive ISO 9001 certification, meaning that we have committed ourselves to strict quality procedures. We recently upgraded to ISO 9001: 2000. All quality procedures are documented and internal audits are conducted on a monthly basis. The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) conducts audits twice a year and reviews us comprehensively every 3 years. In addition, Ipsos Markinor undertakes to adhere to the ICC/ESOMAR International Code of Marketing and Social Research Practice.

Some specific quality control processes that are documented and adhered to include:

Training of Interviewers
We are committed to training interviewers. Our thinking hinges on our interviewers’ meticulousness and skill. Training is facilitated during face-to-face briefings and
mock interviews, we also train and refresh interviewers constantly on interviewing techniques. A supervisor always accompanies an interviewer in field and this has also proved to be an invaluable training tool.

Recovery
All our mission critical systems run redundant power supplies should hardware failure occur. These systems all run with a dedicated UPS. A comprehensive back-up system is run on a daily basis and stored off-site. Anti-virus software is updated every night and automatically sent to every internal client as they log in.
