Wendy Shepherd
JOHANNESBURG – Wendy Shepherd has been appointed Head of Loyalty for Ipsos South Africa. Her appointment follows that of new CEO, Ian Jeffrey, as Ipsos continues to make high-level appointments to enhance its specialist offerings in South Africa.

Wendy will be based at the company’s head office in Randburg and will focus on leading its Loyalty unit.
Commenting on the appointment, Jeffrey said: “Ipsos is delighted to have somebody of Wendy’s calibre join our business at a time when companies are expecting cutting-edge solutions to understand and enhance their customer satisfaction efforts.”
Wendy was previously in the employ of Virgin Mobile where she was responsible for Research and Insights across the organisation, with particular focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement. She joins Ipsos with over 8 years’ experience in the research industry, supported by an honours degree in Mathematical Statistics.
Wendy commented that Ipsos understands the importance of simultaneously offering actionable results at an operational level and the equally important benefit of strategic direction for their clients. Loyalty among staff and customers becomes a fundamental quality to businesses during times of recession when marketing budgets are being slashed and the cost of acquiring new customers and staff are spiraling.
